« There are no hotels near Jackson Airport (they are all in town and range from 4.5 to 6 miles distant). We have never been able to find a hotel here offering van service to/from the airport, either. The Doubletree listed below is our favorite. At $89 to $119 per night, it is about twice Days Inn rates. If you're looking for a cheap room, this isn't the place. But if you want a nice, friendly, cozy, family-oriented abode to recover from your travels, their pool (indoor) is great and has a whirlpool next to it. They even have a complete fitness center. The showers in the room are about as good as you'll find and they have (free), high-speed Internet access. To check rates, amenities or make hotel reservations, just click on the hotel name.
