Lake Tahoe Airport is just off US-50, 3 miles south of the Lake and about
5 miles from South Lake Tahoe, CA.
When
we last checked, the
Lake Tahoe
Airport was no
longer served by
Allegiant Air. All commercial flights have been
suspended. Service is now through the Reno airport (now renamed
'Reno-Tahoe International Airport'.) For specifics, see
Reno. The Lake Tahoe airport is still very popular with general aviation (private and corporate aircraft) and the base operator is known for providing excellent service. For
